Cleverlance Group elevates services in ICT security
The Cleverlance Group, as the parent company of Cleverlance, TrustPort and AEC, has elevated its security division to the status of an independent commercial unit – Security Services.
The main reason for this organizational change was the 100% increase in last year’s turnover for security services and this year’s projections for similar growth.
Security Services offers services in IT security – from ensuring security within the framework of development, to implementation to the IS, to testing. It is geared toward major Czech and Slovak customers from the banking and telecommunications sectors and is also beginning to focus on the Austrian market. Security Services mainly provides security audits for front-end applications and penetration tests that show the true status of an application with regard to security and its ability to resist various types of attack. Security Services consultants use projects of risk analysis, security architecture designs and processes and other security services to help clients minimise risks arising from possible security breaches.
Tomáš Strýček, Chief of Security Division for AEC, said: “The successful rise of IT security in the company requires that it be perceived in close relation to the other company processes. This is why our approach attempts to identify the security problem in relation to our customers’ business activities."
On February 17th AEC, a member company in the Cleverlance Group, will organize its 18th annual Security Conference, at which IT managers and specialists from public administration and from corporations of the financial, telecommunications, production and other sectors will meet.
