The company continues to undergo a restructuring that is streamlining sales and supply processes. Cleverlance and its subsidiaries AEC and TrustPort, providing services and products for IS security, have been going by the official name Cleverlance Group.

The reason for the creation of this new legal entity is our growing IT specialisation and expanded offer of services and products. Some of them have advanced to such a level that independent organizational units have been created for their development – one example of this is the Clever Trading Solution for investment banking.  The 100% increase in turnover for security services led to the need for the creation of the independent Security Services unit.  Even in the face of the word-wide economic recession, Cleverlance has recorded a rise in profits.

Cleverlance changes its organisational structure and company management. Jiří Bíba is named the new executive director. Company founder Dobromil Podpěra remains the chairman of the board of directors and continues to head the company's strategic development. Organizational units are created focusing on the supply of SW solutions and consultation, especially for the telcom, banking and insurance sectors, among others.

2007

Cleverlance once again places on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 as the second fastest growing IT company in the Czech Republic. Company turnover in services exceeds CZK 500 million. At year's end the company AEC is acquired, thanks to which Cleverlance is able to vastly expand its portfolio of services to include information systems security. Cleverlance's staff headcount exceeds 500.

2006

Cleverlance is transformed into the joint-stock company Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions a.s.
Cleverlance is named for the second time by the Technology Fast 50 ranking the most successful Czech provider of software in Central Europe. The number of specialists working in Cleverlance exceeds 300.

2005

In October 2005, according to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 ranking, the company, with a revenue increase of 2,933 %, becomes the fastest growing Czech IT company in Central Europe in the history of the competition.

The Slovak branch is established.

At year's end, Brain Systems s.r.o. is acquired and the company's management is strengthened.

2004

Company expands offer of educational courses and begins Cleverlance Education Center activities. The Center's goal is to provide IT specialists with the opportunity to learn and develop their knowledge with the help of Cleverlance's professional instructors.

2003

In the view of SUN Microsystems, Cleverlance has established itself as the leading supplier of multi-tier solutions on the J2EE platform in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The prestigious magazine Inside names Cleverlance the fastest growing Czech developer company and also ranks it among the 12 leading candidates with the greatest potential for significant future success.

2002

As with numerous other companies, Cleverlance is affected by the crisis in the dot-com industry on European markets that resulted in an emphasis placed on customers within the Czech Republic. Thanks to its prior experience from successful international projects unique at that time on the Czech market, Cleverlance is awarded the contract to develop the first-ever commercially successful solution on a J2EE platform in the Czech Republic. Users of this system number at this time in the hundreds of thousands.

2001

Cleverlance’s greatest successes include becoming the first company of its kind in Europe to obtain Hewlett-Packard’s certification for application servers and finishing an impressive third place in the Berlin Days international competition organized by European chambers of commerce.

2000

From the company’s very inception, Cleverlance has specialised in customer development of multi-tier open solutions. The company takes part mainly in projects abroad, especially in Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and the USA, where it acquires valuable experience in international projects and the latest technology, thus getting a head start on other companies in the Czech Republic.
